1. Requirements for performance of hydraulic oil

In hydraulic transmission, hydraulic oil is not only the transfer medium of power, and lubricant, in some components and sealing effect, also by diffuse out of the oil system's heat, so heat dissipation effect. Therefore, to ensure the reliable, effective and economical work of hydraulic system, the hydraulic oil must ensure the following requirements:

1) proper viscosity. Viscosity is the size of friction resistance between molecules when the oil is flowing. When the viscosity is too large, the oil flow has great resistance, great loss of energy and low efficiency of the system. In addition, the air load loss of the main engine increases, the temperature rises quickly and the working temperature is high, which is easy to show the "hole" phenomenon in the main pump suction side. The viscosity of an hour can not guarantee the good lubrication conditions of the hydraulic components, aggravate the wear of the components, increase the leakage, and reduce the efficiency of the hydraulic system.

2) good viscosity-temperature characteristics. Viscosity temperature is the degree to which the viscosity of oil and oil varies with temperature, usually expressed in viscosity index. The larger the viscosity index, the smaller the oil viscosity decreases with the temperature rise in the hydraulic system, so that the internal leakage of the hydraulic system is not too large. The viscosity index is generally not less than 90.

3) good abrasion resistance and lubrication. The purpose is to reduce the mechanical friction and ensure that there is sufficient oil film strength under different pressure, speed and temperature.

4) high chemical reaction stability, not easy to oxidize and deteriorate. Practice has proved that the oil temperature rise every 10 ℃, the chemical reaction speed increased by about one times. The long time use of anti-oxidative stability is not easy to oxidize and deteriorate, which can ensure the normal circulation of hydraulic oil.

5) the quality shall be pure and the content of mechanical impurities, water and dust shall be minimized.

6) the effect on seals is small.

7) it is better to be emulsified and not to cause bubbles. Resistance to emulsification refers to the ability of oil to mix with water and not become emulsion or water from it. Anti-foam is the ability to mix the air in the oil and not produce the emulsion and the bubbles to separate from the oil. When mixed with water or air, the volume modulus of hydraulic oil is reduced, the compressibility increases, the hydraulic components are slow and easy to produce shock and vibration.

8) good rust resistance. The hydraulic oil covers the part surface to avoid oxidation corrosion.

9) good anti-shear stability. In order to improve the oil viscosity index, often join methyl acrylic ester oil, polyisobutylene and other polymers, these substances molecular chain is longer, the oil flows through the hydraulic components of the slit by great shearing action, often can make the molecular chain scission, falling oil viscosity-temperature characteristics.

10) flash point and flash point should meet ambient temperature and be less volatile to ensure the safety of hydraulic oil.

2. Pollution causes and hazards of hydraulic oil

2.1 source of pollutants

1) pollutants in the new oil. Although the hydraulic oil is under the condition of relatively clean environment of refined processed, but in the process of transporting and storing by pipeline, oil drum, and the pollution of oil tanks, oil mixed with some dust, sand, rust, water and other liquids, etc.

2) elements and residual pollutants in the system. Hydraulic components and hydraulic systems can be processed, assembled and cleaned during the process of cleaning up and leaving some contaminants.

3) external intrusion into pollutants. Hydraulic components and the working process of the machine, the fuel tank sealing is imperfect, component damage reasons such as sealing and protection device, by the system external invasion of some pollutants, such as dust, sand, water, etc.

4) pollutants generated in the hydraulic system. Hydraulic system in the work itself will generate some solid particle pollution, including hydraulic components wear and corrosion of metal or rubber powder particles, and the oil oxidation of pollutants, etc.

2.2 harm of hydraulic oil pollution

1) the pollutant often causes the throttle valve and the pressure damping hole to pass, even the valve core is stuck, causing the pressure and speed of the hydraulic system to change from time to time, affecting its normal operation.

2) speed up the wear of hydraulic pump and motor and valve group, causing an increase in internal leakage.

3) the moisture in the hydraulic fluid is used to corrode the metal and accelerate the aging and deterioration of the hydraulic oil.

4) the air in the hydraulic oil can cause noise, vibration, crawling, cavitation and impact, thus worsening the performance of the hydraulic system.

3. Maintenance of hydraulic oil

3.1 prevention of oil pollution

Grader is used in various kinds of pump and valve components, relatively fit clearance between moving parts and working surface are smaller, there are many in the hydraulic components damping hole and slot control valve mouth, etc., if the oil mixed with sewage, blocking phenomenon occurs, even cut surface, increase the leakage, even stuck valve core, cause component failure. So keeping oil clean is the key to maintenance of hydraulic system.

1) the hydraulic oil must be filtered through strict filtration, and when filling the hydraulic tank with oil, the oil filter should pass over 120 eyes.

2) check the cleanliness of oil fluid regularly, and replace it regularly according to the working conditions. When replacing, the hydraulic system should be removed as far as possible. Among them, the method of using the external circulation of system is more operable. The way to do it is to put the waste oil in the tank, the radiator, and then add the new oil. Remove the return tubing into the tank and start the engine to remove the waste oil from the return tubing. Special emphasis should be placed on the timely observation of oil surface changes in the oil tank, which should ensure the safe height of the oil. Replace the filter element of the filter when replacing the new oil.

3) hydraulic components should not be easily disassembled. If necessary, the parts should be cleaned with kerosene or diesel and then put in a clean place to avoid the impurities when reassembling
